Service to Our Country

Since I have a good friend who is in the Army Reserves I've been thinking a lot about the men and women serving our country. I've always appreciated the job they do to protect our country, but now that I have a personal connection with one of the men protecting this country I have a much deeper appreciation for them. My friend told me he was going on a mission and I was freaking out, thinking he could lose his life. Although he went on to explain that it's like practice drills for them, that moment  of panic I had before was real. I can't image what all the family members of soldiers who are in war zones do. I couldn't even think of my friend being sent overseas. I definitely support the troops and their families.

Definition of life

After my first post about living life, I thought about what the definition of living life really is. I believe the definition can be different for everyone. My definition is different than yours who's is different then the next person. I just believe that a person needs to stick with whatever they believe their definition is. Don't change your definition for someone else, the only change should be from a revelation you have had not to fit some fad. Be yourself and live the life you want to live.

In the Beginning

First post since this birth of this blog. This blog will hopefully provide advice on what not to do and what to do! I make mistakes and successes in my life and I figured I should write them down and let the world see them so others can learn. I will answer questions if there's something you think I could answer for you, which I'm no expert on life, but then again who is. My main goal is not to live a perfect life but to live a life that perfectly imperfect. I want to have a life of ups and downs to learn and grow from. I think that should be everyone's goal in life. Forget about the material things and plan a life of adventure. By no means am I saying go live on the side of the road. I just believe that everyone shouldn't have their life revolve around a job and earning money. You need to see the world and know what's all out there.
